Rowan County native Linda Ketner, now a Charleston, S.C., resident who is running for Congress, will be part of a televised debate at 7 p.m. tonight on C-Span (Channel 70 on Time Warner Cable).
Ketner, a Democrat, is daughter of Food Lion co-founder Ralph Ketner of Salisbury.
In U.S. House District 1 in South Carolina, Ketner is running against Republican incumbent Henry Brown, who has served four terms.
“According to the latest polls,” Ralph Ketner said Tuesday, “she was leading.”
