A fundraiser for the Rowan Helping Ministries West will be held 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday at Patterson Farm’s market on Caldwell Road.
Attractions include a dunking booth, a bounce house for children and entertainment throughout the day. Also on hand will be the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office K-9 unit, the N.C. Highway Patrol with goggles that simulate the experience of drinking and driving.
Organizers plan a silent auction. Food will also be available.
Proceeds will help the RHM west unit, housed in the former Mount Ulla Volunteer Fire Department on Grampian Road, provide aid to families for groceries, electric bills and other needs.
