The Rowan County Board of Commissioners will hold a special meeting at 4 p.m. Monday.
The meeting has two items of business, which includes approving the purchase of vehicles for the Sheriff’s Office and Emergency Medical Services and an upgrade to the main county computer system.
The board will also consider approval of a subdivision guarantee for water point sources in the Crane Point subdivision.
Commissioners opted to hold the special meeting to award the contracts instead of holding the second Monday meeting this month.
The next regular meeting will be Jan. 5 at 4 p.m.
The board meets in the Cohen Administrative Offices Building, 130 W. Innes St.
