Students, faculty, staff and alumni associated with Catawba Collegeís Ketner School of Business are on a ěBusiness in Chinaî tour now through June 1. The tour, coordinated by Dr. Jack Greene, associate professor of marketing, is offered through EF Education Tours and includes visits to Beijing, Xian, Shanghai, Shenzhen and Hong Kong.
While the group is in China, student Bradley Ross, a senior business administration major from Freeland, Md., will be providing a blog of his experiences which will be posted on the Salisbury Post and Catawba College Web sites.
Those participating in the China tour in addition to Green and Ross include Kyle Overacker, a senior business administration major from Albany, N.Y.; Sarah Grochoski, a senior business administration major in the evening program from Rockwell; Geoffrey Grochoski, Sarahís husband; Anjelica Fresia, a sophomore business administration major from Jacksonville; Sheri Keithley, a senior business administration major from Huntingtown, Md.; Alicia Bean, a sophomore business administration major from Spencer; George Johnson, class of 1977, president of Carolina Aircraft & NexGa Inc., former adjunct professor for the Ketner School of Business and member of the Catawba College Business Advisory Board; and Robert Van Geons, class of 1997, executive director, Salisbury-Rowan EDC, and member and vice chairman of the Catawba College Business Advisory Board.
