Quarter Midget racing Thanksgiving weekend

The North Carolina Quarter Midget Association (NCQMA) is holding its National Racing Event Thanksgiving weekend, Nov. 28 and 29, at Rowan County’s quarter midget track on Speedway Boulevard.
Young drivers, ages 5 to 16, are expected to come from all over the United States to race quarter midget cars. This event normally draws more than 325 cars.
Admission to the event is free. Qualifying begins Friday morning, Nov 28, followed by all lower main races and ending with A main races on Saturday.
