Police raid in East Spencer nets three drug arrests

EAST SPENCER — Three people face drug-related charges after police officers this week raided a suspected drug house at 109 Mitchell St.
Corey Duane Leach, 24, of 109 Mitchell St., is charged with felony possession of cocaine and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. His bond was set at $6,500.
Thomas Lewis Polk, 29, of 112 Pine Drive, Granite Quarry, is charged with felony possession of cocaine and misdemeanor possession of marijuana. He had been out of prison less than 30 days after serving a two-year sentence for cocaine sales, police said. His bond was set at $6,500.
Constance Beam, 47, of 105 E. Broad St., was charged with misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. She was cited and released.
The raid resulted from an ongoing drug investigation by Lt. J.R. Schmierer. It was the first warrant served that included East Spencer’s newly acquired narcotics dog, Diesel, handled by Officer Dennis Watts.
