Police make arrests for larceny, stalking

CHINA GROVE ó Police arrested a Salisbury man for breaking into a Harry Street residence in China Grove April 28 and stealing items valued at roughly $4,500.
China Grove authorities charged Quinton Andrew Jones, 17, of 345 Neely Town Road with breaking, entering and larceny. Officer N.J. O’Brien investigated.
Jones is accused of breaking into a home at 651 Harry St. and stealing a 52-inch television, a television game system, bracelets, pocketbooks, a camcorder and luggage.
Jones’ bond was set Saturday at $5,000, and his first appearance in court is scheduled for Monday morning.
In another report from the Rowan County Magistrate’s Office, Kannapolis Police charged Christian Daniel Dupree Ford, 19, of 144 Beaumont St., Kannapolis, with two counts of misdemeanor stalking Saturday.
Officer C.B. Sellers investigated. Bond was set at $10,000.
