Pieces of copper and tools are missing from a local plumming company, according to the Salisbury Police Department.
The theft occurred Jan. 10 after a burglar broke into Bill Brown Plumming, Heating and Air Conditioning, 414 S. Main St.
In other Police Department reports:
– Jeanette Vargas reported a CD player was stolen from her vehicle while it was parked at 822 N. Main St. the night of Jan. 8.
– Nesbit Morgan Ryall reported items stolen from his vehicle while it was parked at 810 S. Main St. the night of Jan. 8.
– Someone cut a gate chain to to steal scrap axles Jan. 9 from Driveshaft Shop, 1531 S. Main St.
– A prescription pad was stolen Jan. 9 from Rowan Medical Clinic, 1904 W. Jake Alexander Blvd.
– A 16-year-old boy was robbed at gunpoint Jan. 9 on Wilson Road.
– Stephanie Evonne Jackson, 422 E. Fisher St., reported vandals kicked in the front door at her home Jan. 9. Damage totaled $300.
– A 66-year-old woman was the victim of a strong-arm robbery Jan. 9 on East Lafayette Street.
– A 22-year-old man reported Jan. 9 that he had been assaulted Nov. 21 at a 329 S. Church St. bar.
– Harvey Lee Gillespie, 57, 305 Messner St., was charged Jan. 9 with felony larceny of a motor vehicle and failing to appear in court. He was held under $3,500 secured bond pending a first appearance in court.
– Jong Kyun Chong, 43, 1302 Stonewyck Drive, was charged Jan. 9 with telephoning repeatedly for the purpose of annoying. He was held under $1,000 secured bond pending a Feb. 18 trial date.
– Curtis David White, 39, address given as streets of Salisbury, was charged Jan. 10 with felony robbery with firearms and failing to appear in court. He was held under $52,000 secured bond pending a first appearance in court.
– Dexter Leon Jones, 27, 306 Foster Lane, was charged Jan. 9 with making a threatening phone call based on a complaint by Arquilla Nurn, 808 S. Fulton St. Jones was released on a written promise to appear in court Feb. 28.
– Amber N. Messer reported her lost credit card had been used fraudulently Jan. 9 at several locations.
– Ralph Edward Nesbit, 406 Laurel Pointe Circle, reported items stolen during a Jan. 10 break-in at his apartment.
– Maria McLellan reported her pocketbook was stolen from her vehicle while it was parked at 1302 N. Ellis St. Jan. 10.
– A 37-year-old man was robbed at gunpoint Jan. 11 of $400 at 210 Partee St.
– A burglar tried to break into Queen City TV & Appliance, 2166 Statesville Blvd., around 5 a.m. Jan. 11.
– Travis Levann Barnes, 19, 830 Old Concord Road, No. 4A, was charged Jan. 10 with assault on a female based on a complaint by Tivey Everhart, 1921 Shirley Ave. He was held under $500 secured bond pending a Feb. 28 trial date.
– Candace Nicole Evans, 17, 422 E. Fisher St., was charged Jan. 10 with simple assault based on a complaint by Melissa Danielle Steele, 2121 Airport Road. Evans was held under $500 secured bond pending a Feb. 28 trial date.
– Charles Derrick reported a suspected embezzlement between Nov. 25 and Jan. 4 involving unloading charges made to truck drivers delivering food to the Food Lion warehouse at 2085 Harrison Road.
– Vincent Wilkins reported a briefcase was stolen from the trunk of his car while it was parked at 329 W. Council St. Jan. 6 and 7.
– Alfred Raymond Carter reported vandals damaged windows and screens Jan. 8 at rental property at 1927 Brenner Ave.
– Lehia Victoria Payton, 100F Clancy St., reported DVDs stolen during a Jan. 8 break-in at her home.
– Rachel D. Stewart reported vandals broke the rear window in her vehicle while it was parked at 703 N. Caldwell St. the night of Jan. 7.
– Santos Shipp was charged Jan. 8 with possession of marijuana after a vehicle stop at North Green Street and Park Avenue.
– A 27-year-old man reported he was assault Jan. 8 on Ann St.
– Charles Anthony Hinson, 50, 2423 Crestview Circle, Charlotte, was charged Jan. 7 with felony forgery of bank notes and felony uttering a forged instrument based on a complaint by Kareem Ceasar Puranda of Salisbury. Hinson was held under $2,000 secured bond pending a first appearance in court.
– Timothy Deshannon Boyd, 37, and Marica Tyrone Peck, 36, both addresses given as streets of Salisbury, were both charged Jan. 8 with felony breaking and entering a motor vehicle and felony larceny after breaking and entering. Bond was set at $2,500 for each pending first appearances in court.
