Piedmont Players announce new season

Piedmont Players Theatre announces its new season, which includes five regular shows and two youth productions.
“Barnum: A Musical,” which is the story of P.T. Barnum, opens Nov. 13.
“A Flea In Her Ear,” a classic comic farce full of chases and mistaken identities, opens Jan. 22.
“Smokey Joe’s Café ó The Songs of Leiber and Stoller” opens March 26, showcasing some of the greatest hits of the ’50s and ’60s.
“Crowns,” a tribute to the fabulous church hats and the African-American women who wear them, will open May 14.
Woody Allen’s “Play it Again, Sam” will open July 15.
Youth productions include “Disney’s Aladdin Jr.,” a youth production, opening Oct. 10, and Shakespeare’s “The Tempest,” opening Feb. 20.
