Pearl Street man charged with cocaine possession

Salisbury Police charged Ryan Lamar Holland, 26, of 236-B, Pearl St. with cocaine possession Friday.
Holland also faces charges of resisting Salisbury Police Officer P.K. Schmeltzer and maintaining a vehicle for the keeping and selling of a controlled substance.
The vehicle was identified as a 1998 Lincoln.
Holland allegedly ran from Schmeltzer during the officer’s narcotics investigation.
Holland had 12.1 grams of cocaine, according to a report.
He was placed under $10,000 bond, and his first appearance in District Court will be Tuesday.
Authorities also arrested a Rockwell man Friday for growing five marijuana plants at his home on U.S. 52.
Perry Bloom, 52, of 8275 U.S. 52 faces charges of manufacturing marijuana, maintaining a dwelling for the keeping and selling of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia (a pipe).
Bloom was placed under $1,000 bond, and his first appearance in court will be Tuesday.
