mother-son drug arrests

A Salisbury mother and son face drug charges after authorities searched their home last week.
According to a Rowan County Sheriff’s Office report, investigators arrested Sandra Jean Morrow, 47, and her son, Damian Jermaine Morrow, 29, when they searched the Morrows’ home at 105 Forrest Pine Drive.
Sheriff’s deputies and officers with the Salisbury Police Department executed a search warrant Friday and found about 4,173 grams of marijuana ó or more than nine pounds of the drug ó along with drug paraphernalia and $5,130 in cash, the report said.
Investigators estimated the street value of the marijuana at $20,865.
Damian Jermaine Morrow was charged with possession with intent to sell marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.His mother was charged with possession with intent to sell marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and maintaining a dwelling for controlled substances.
Each was booked in the Rowan County Detention Center under $10,000 secured bond pending a first appearance in court today.
