Morris column: Sound off on Citizen blog
Published 12:00 am Wednesday, December 2, 2009
Well, I was going to write a column this week about all the great comments the Kannapolis section of the Salisbury Post’s blog has received, but there were no comments.
I got mad for a second, thinking, “Why don’t these folks have opinions around here?” Yes, I got a letter to the editor today, for which I was most happy. But there were no comments on our Kannapolis blog.
Then I realized, “Idiot, Joanie. You’ve not told them about the blog.”
Yeah, that’s right. We have an Internet blog now. The Kannapolis Citizen is posting under the Kannapolis tab on www.salisburypostables.com. Just log on,click on the Kannapolis tab and read away. Feel free to leave your comments, too.No dirty stuff, though. We have total authority on this blog, and off-color material like that won’t get through. Period. You can complain all you want about it ó but, hey, that’s life. And one of my favorite lessons in life has got to be, “Who said life was fair?”
We’re also looking for some local opinionators (would that be the correct term?) who would like to turn into bloggers, sharing their thoughts and opinions on the Kannapolis blog on a regular basis. If you think you’d be interested, please contact me and we’ll get you set up.
That means you, oh delicate foodie out there, man of means hoping to share his good fortune, or even you, with your opinions on everything from fashion to the political arena. Bring it on.
