The Rowan County chapters of Moms in Touch will hold its second-quarter countywide prayer meeting at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday in the chapel at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 200 W. Innes St.
The second quarter refers to the beginning of the second quarter of the school year. Though Moms in Touch chapters are divided into smaller groups that focus on schools in a specific area, the groups now gather once a quarter to pray for all students in the county.
The women are part of Moms In Touch International, a nondenominational, worldwide organization of Christian women who meet once a week to pray for children and schools.
The group welcomes anyone who would like to attend Tuesday’s meeting.
