Minor injuries in 3-car accident on East Innes

Two people were sent to the hospital with minor injuries after a three-vehicle collision on East Innes Street at Interstate 85 on Thursday afternoon.
According to Salisbury Police, Susan Ketner, who was driving a gray Lexus, had stopped at a red light when a car driven by Hattie Mack Mackey rear-ended her.
A third car, driven by Mary Rankin, hit Mackey from behind.
Mackey’s vehicle, a black Saturn, overturned.
The incident occurred around 1 p.m.
Both Mackey and Rankin will be cited for failure to reduce speed.
Both had minor injuries.
