Man in fair condition after fall from tree

KANNAPOLIS ó A 30-year-old man remains in fair condition in a Charlotte hospital today after falling nearly 30 feet from a tree.
A Kannapolis Police Department incident log identified the man as Brian Baker but did not provide an address for Baker.
A spokeswoman at Carolinas Medical Center-Charlotte said Baker was in fair condition around midday today.
The Kannapolis Fire Department responded to a medical call at 5813 McClenny Drive about 12:30 p.m. Thursday.
According to a Fire Department press release, Baker fell out of a bucket truck while trimming trees.
Firefighters responded with three vehicles and seven personnel. Odell Fire Department also assisted.
A helicopter flew Baker to the Charlotte hospital.
