GRANITE QUARRY ó The Granite Quarry-Faith Police Department charged a 37-year-old Granite Quarry man Saturday with committing sex offenses against a girl now 15 years old, a press release said.
Dale Eugene Ketchie of 107-C S Walnut St. faces charges of first-degree sex offense and taking indecent liberties with a minor. He was being held Sunday in the Rowan County Detention Center under $50,000 bond pending a first appearance in court Tuesday.
Ketchie knows the female victim, the press release said.
According to the investigating officer, Sgt. K.W. Trivett, the most recent offenses occurred during the past several months.
