Have a legal question but unsure where to turn? A group of local attorneys wants to help.
Several local attorneys specializing in various fields of expertise will be on hand for the second annual Ask A Lawyer event.
The event takes place at 9 a.m. Saturday in the Hurley Room of the Rowan Public Library.
“We’ll be there for four to five hours,” said organizer Robert Lester.
Lester is an attorney for the Rowan County Department of Social Services.
“We did it last year at the YMCA and it was very successful,” Lester said.
The event is not affiliated with a similar event sponsored by the N.C. Bar Association, he said.
The service is free and not designed to solicit business for the attorneys.
