The LandTrust for Central North Carolina invites the public to an open house Thursday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at The LandTrust’s office at 215 Depot Street (the Historic Salisbury Train Depot).
“Our annual open house is a great chance for us to talk to friends, supporters and interested members of the general public about our achievements in 2008 and upcoming projects in 2009. We encourage anyone who may want to learn more about land conservation or our organization to attend,” Executive Director Jason Walser said. “The LandTrust conserved almost 1,200 acres in 2008. And we’ve conserved over 17,600 acres since our formation in 1995. This is our chance to celebrate these accomplishments and thank our supporters after the busy holiday season is over.”
No RSVP is required. Refreshments will be served. For more information about the event, contact Andrew Waters at 704-647-0302 or andrew@landtrustcnc.org.
