There comes a point in everyone’s life where Christmas becomes more about giving than receiving.
The funny thing is, only once that point has been reached do we see and comprehend the true meaning of the season.
It’s not about worrying about ourselves or what we’re going to get for Christmas. It’s about worrying about that little 5-year-old who believes with all his or her heart that Santa Claus is coming.
And it’s worrying that, somewhere, there’s going to be a child who wakes up Christmas morning without a present from Santa. No doll, no bike, nothing.
It shouldn’t happen, and with your help, it won’t.
Families who qualify for Christmas Happiness don’t get a lot, only a $30 voucher per child. The vouchers are exchanged for toys.
But for families who are struggling through tough economic times, that $30 can go a long way toward helping a child enjoy a wonderful Christmas.
Won’t you please make a donation to Christmas Happiness? You’ll be surprised at how much better the simple act will make you feel.
And you’ll be helping some child maintain his belief in the magic of the season.
