Republican U.S. presidential candidate John McCain will appear in Concord Saturday for a “Road to Victory Rally” at the Cabarrus Arena & Events Center.
An exact time has not been given for McCain’s arrival. Doors open at 8 a.m., and people must arrive at the arena by 10 a.m. The arena is located at 4751 N.C. 49 in Concord.
The event is free, but tickets are required for entry. They are available at various Republican headquarters in the area, including the following local GOP sites:
– Salisbury GOP, 100 W. Innes St. (The Plaza building on the Square).
– Concord GOP, 50 Concord Commons Parkway.
– Charlotte GOP, 1515 Mockingbird Lane, Suite 218.
– Harrisburg GOP, 4351 Main St.
– Stanly County Pick-up Location 1, West North Street, Albemarle.
– Stanly Pick-up Location 2, 1618 W. Main St., Locust.
A ticket doesn’t guarantee entry, so people are being encouraged to arrive early. Entry will be based on a first-come, first-served basis.
Tickets are limited to four per person and also are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis.
