Jerry Lane Harwood gets additional charges

ROCKWELL ó A teen charged with setting fire to the Stanback Petting Barn at Dan Nicholas Park faces additional charges.
Rockwell Police charged Jerry Lane Harwood Jr., 18, of 109 W. Main St. Apt. D, with 12 counts of breaking and entering a motor vehicle, 11 counts of larceny, larceny of a firearm, two counts of financial card theft, two counts breaking and entering, two counts larceny after breaking and entering, breaking into a coin-operated machine, damage to a coin-operated machine, injury to real property and injury to personal property.
Harwood is also charged with contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile.
The Rowan County Sheriff’s Office additionally charged Harwood with six counts possession of stolen goods/property.
According to arrest warrants, the teen was in possession of a laptop, some CDs, a bookbag, a GPS system, a dirt bike and a flashlight/radio combination system.
Two teens, Jonathan Orion Honeycutt and Timothy Dakota Graham, both 17, were arrested this week and similarly charged.
The break-ins and thefts occurred between April 15 and 16. Most occurred in residential areas where items were taken from unlocked vehicles parked near or at residences. Two businesses also were broken into, a press release said.
