Hundreds of Livingstone College students stood on the steps of the Rowan County Administration Building this morning, waiting their turn to vote early.
The students marched from Livingstone’s campus on West Monroe Street on Wednesday morning to the downtown building to cast their votes.
The group began gathering around 11 a.m.
Some of the students were excited to vote for the first time.
The college’s Student Affairs Department helped coordinate the march. A second group is expected to return to vote later this afternoon.
