Hampton to attend Angus convention
Joe K. Hampton, Mount Ulla, has been elected as a delegate to the 125th Annual American Angus Association Convention of Delegates, Nov. 17 in Louisville, Ky., reports Bryce Schumann, chief executive officer of the American Angus Association.
Robin Hampton, Mount Ulla, has been elected as an alternate delegate.
The Hamptons, are members of the American Angus Association with headquarters in Saint Joseph, Mo., and are part of 402 Angus breeders who have been elected by fellow members in their state to serve as a representative at the annual meeting.
Representing 45 states, the District of Columbia and Canada, the delegates will participate in the business meeting and elect new officers and five directors to the American Angus Association board.
The event is held in conjunction with the annual banquet and the Super Point Roll of Victory Angus show, Nov. 15-18 during the North American International Livestock Exposition.
