Katie Shaw Gardner graduated magna cum laude with honors Aug. 9 from Clemson University. She received a bachelor of science degree in health sciences with a concentration in pre-professional health studies.
A Presidential Scholar, Gardner was a member of Calhoun Honors College, Chi Omega Sorority, National Scholars Honor Society, Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society, Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society and the National Society of Collegiate Scholars.
She plans to pursue a physician’s assistant degree at the Medical University of South Carolina.A 2005 graduate of Salisbury High School, she is the daughter of Kerry and Tim Gardner of Salisbury.
