Erica June St. Lawrence is a December 2008 graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a bachelor of arts degree in history.
While at UNC, St. Lawrence was involved with Company Carolina, a drama group. She was an intern giving guided tours at the Historic Stagville Plantation in Durham. In 2008, she was elected president of the Chapel Hill Chapter of Mu Beta Psi coed music fraternity.
A dean’s list student at UNC, she was a 2005 honor graduate of Salisbury High School, an AP Scholar with honors, a recipient of the United Way Service Above Self Award and the Mayor’s Award for Outstanding Female Student and a 2005 recipient of the Bechtel Global Scholarship.
She plans to attend graduate school in the fall to pursue a degree in public history.
