GOP meet and greet event today
Two local Republican organizations will host a meet and greet for the GOP commissioner candidates at Dan Nicholas Park this afternoon.
The event will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. today at Shelter 6 at the park. The event is open to the public and will include free hot dogs while they last.
The Rowan Republican Men’s Club and the Crescent Women’s Club are jointly sponsoring the event.
