Four teens charged in burglaries

Four people have been charged following a burglary in Salisbury Thursday morning and are under investigation for thefts in China Grove and Spencer.
A homeowner in the 200 block of South Fulton Street called police at 3:28 a.m. Thursday. Officers found four males in the area and determined they had burglarized the home. Property taken from the house was found in the area. Officers also found the suspects’ vehicle with additional stolen property belonging to victims in China Grove.
Charged were William Ortiz, 18, 808 S. Fulton St. Apt. B, and Cameron Stephen Uribe, 17, 3245 W. Innes St.
Ortiz was charged with first-degree burglary, possession of stolen goods and possession of burglary tools.
Uribe was also charged with first-degree burglary, possession of stolen goods and possession of burglary tools.
They were placed in the Rowan County Detention Center under $100,000 and $50,000 bonds.
Two juveniles, age 15, were also charged and released to the custody of their guardians.
Additional charges are pending involving other cases in Salisbury. China Grove and Spencer police are also investigating cases involving the four.
