A Salisbury woman is jailed under $100,000 bond after authorities say she tried to obtain medications from a local pharmacy with forged prescriptions.
Cynthia Leanne Morgan, 40, of 280 Kern Carlton Road, is charged with two counts of attempting to obtain property by false pretense, two counts of uttering forged endorsement, two counts of trafficking opium or heroin, maintaining a vehicle for keeping or selling a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
According to a Salisbury Police Department arrest report, Morgan tried to obtain Lortab and Adderall from Salisbury Pharmacy with a prescription she forged using the name of Dr. Julius K. Tokunboh at Grace Medical Clinics.
When Morgan tried to obtain the drugs, she also used the false name Crystal Moss, the report said.
