CLEVELAND ó The first annual IGA United Way Poker Run will be held here on Saturday, Aug. 30.
Registration will begin at noon in the parking lot of the 11745 Statesville Blvd. supermarket. The ride will begin at 1:30 p.m., with the last bike in at 5 p.m. Fees are $15 for a single rider, $25 for double.
Proceeds will go to the Rowan County United Way.
Stops on the poker run will include Tilley’s of Statesville, the Fallout Shelter, Ice Cream Bar and Tilley’s of Salisbury. The rider with the best hand will win $100, while the worst hand is worth $50.
Hot dogs, drinks and door prizes will be available when riders arrive back at IGA. Music will also be provided.
