Faithful Friends to meet
Faithful Friends Animal Sanctuary meeting will be Sunday, 2 to 4 p.m., at Rowan Public Library’s Stanback Room.
Speakers will be Rhonda Thomas, founder of Project Halo in Charlotte, and rescuer Lesa Babb. After Hurricane Katrina, Project Halo and its volunteers spent eight weeks in Gulfport, Miss. Thomas and Babb will share their experiences.
