Environmental education company offers wildlife classes for home schoolers

A Walk in the Woods, an environmental education company, is offering 4-H wildlife classes for home schoolers in the spring.
The Rowan County classes will be Thursdays from 12:30-2 p.m. and will be held at the Rowan County Cooperative Extension Office, 2727-A Old Concord Rd.
Class dates: Jan. 15, Sea Turtles; Jan. 29, Animal Races; Feb. 5, N.C. Snakes; Feb. 19, Animal Tracks; March 26, Backyard Birds; April 9, Butterflies and Moths; April 23, Plant ID Hike; May 7, Community Wildlife Service Project.

Cabarrus County classes are Mondays from noon-1:30 p.m. and will be held at the Cooperative Extension Office, 715 Cabarrus Ave., Concord. Call 704-920-3310 for more information
Cost is $85 per student for ages 7-18.
