Elder homeownership workshop Saturday

Vashti Chapter 122 of the Order of the Eastern Star will offer a workshop Saturday to explain homeownership tax benefits for seniors.
The Order of the Eastern Star is a nonprofit auxiliary organization for the Masons.
The workshop takes place from 2 to 4:30 p.m. in the Stanback Room of Rowan Public Library on East Fisher Street in downtown Salisbury.
The Senior Awareness Day workshop aims to inform the community seniors of homeownership tax benefits and reverse mortgage information.
Vashti Chapter 122 was founded in 2005.
