Silverburg lectures
Dr. Sanford Silverburg, professor of political science at Catawba College, gave two lectures at the recent Chautauqua Andrews Valley Experience in Andrews.
They were titled “If Adversity Breeds Character, What Does the Lack of Energy Do?” and “The United States beyond the Past with an Unknown Future.”
He also gave two lectures at Rockingham Community College, speaking on “The 2008 Presidential Election: Minorities Seeking Majority Approval” and “The Modern Presidency: Which is More Important, Foreign Policy or Domestic Politics?”
Silverburg is a specialist in international relations and international law as well as the government and politics of the Middle East. He has published and lectured internationally and has broad experience with governmental military affairs.
