Education: DAR essay winners

Abrielle “Abby” Cozart and Caroline Belle Chilton have been named chapter and District IV winners in the American History Essay Contest sponsored by the Elizabeth Maxwell Steele Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
The DAR promotes American history and good citizenship. The annual essay contest is open to students in grades 5-8.
Cozart, a fifth-grader, was the first-place winner at Rockwell Elementary School. Chilton, a sixth-grader, was the first-place winner at Sacred Heart Catholic School. Their topic was “I Spy รณ Espionage During the American Revolution.”
