Campbell scholarship
Ivy Brisbin, a 2008 graduate of Salisbury High School, is the recipient of the third Jack C. Campbell Memorial Scholarship.
Funded by the Rowan Business Alliance Foundation, the $500 award is given to a qualified student athlete.
Brisbin ranked No. 1 in her class of 167. She lettered in multiple sports, earned all-county and all-conference honors in cross country and soccer and was senior team captain in both.
She was a member of multiple clubs and active in a young Christians’ group and service projects. She was also named an AP Scholar with Distinction and a Morehead nominee. She plans to major in pre-dentistry at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Her parents are Richard and Linda Brisbin.
