National certification
Melody Lipe Marsh recently became a National Board Certified teacher.
Marsh is a first-grade teacher at Oaks Elementary School in Cabarrus County, where she has taught for 10 years.
A 1993 graduate of South Rowan High School, she was a Teaching Fellow at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, where she graduated cum laude in 1997 with a bachelor of arts degree in elementary education. She earned a master’s degree in elementary education, also from UNCC, in 2003.
She and husband Matthew live in China Grove.
