downtown mooresville dir retires

MOORESVILLE ó The Mooresville Downtown Commission announces the retirement of its executive director, Wayne Frick, effective June 30.
Frick has worked for the Mooresville Downtown Commission since its inception in 1987.
“Our accomplishments have been the result of a lot of people embracing our work for the downtown,” Frick said.
Kim Atkins, chairman of the Mooresville Downtown Commission, said, “The board would like to extend a big thank you to Wayne for his hard work and dedication over the years.”
The Mooresville Downtown Commission was created to enhance and promote Historic Downtown Mooresville. By working with civic leaders and merchants to continually focus on economic vitality and growth, the MDC helps to keep main street values going strong for Mooresville.
The Mooresville Downtown Commission is funded by local government, business and property owners within a specific tax district. It is a nonprofit, volunteer organization.
