Candidate to speak
Dan Besse, candidate for Lieutenant Governor, will address the next meeting of the Rowan County Democratic Party today at 7 p.m..
The meeting will convene in the Commissioners’ Chambers on the second floor of the County Administrative Building, 130 W. Innes St.
Besse, a native of Hickory and a graduate of UNC-Chapel Hill, lives in Winston-Salem with his wife, Kay. An attorney, he currently serves on the Winston-Salem City Council. He has been endorsed by the Sierra Club and the North Carolina Progressive Democrats.
The public is invited to attend the meeting.
