Cooperative Extension holiday program Nov. 14
Published 12:00 am Wednesday, December 2, 2009
This year’s Cooperative Extension holiday program will be Friday, Nov. 14 at the Agriculture Center beginning at 9 a.m. The theme for this year’s program will be “Thanksgiving O’ Plenty.” The program will focus on using the warmth and colors of fall with a hint of rustic simplicity to create a beautiful table. Toi Degree will demonstrate how this can be done using practical and inexpensive everyday items to transform the dinner table into a beautiful autumn display. Incorporating elements from outside and bringing them to life inside is the key to this transformation.
Anne Simpkins, from Favorites Interior Design Studio, will demonstrate how to mix and match holiday china, make thank you and/or place tent cards and many more holiday accents to add to a festive table.
Refreshments will be served.
Replies to invitations will be accepted now through Nov. 10 at 704-216-8970.
