Concord house fire

CONCORD ó Fire damaged a home on Old Charlotte Road Thursday night and expelled the two people living there.
Neither of the residents was injured, and the American Red Cross was helping them find shelter.
Units from the Concord Department of Fire and Life Safety were dispatched at 10:23 p.m. Thursday to 739 Old Charlotte Road.
The first firefighters arrived three minutes later and found heavy fire and smoke coming from the back of the home.
In all, six units and 22 firefighters responded to the fire, which remains under investigation, according to Concord officials.
Officials did not identify the residents of the home.
