Compensatory ed offered by RCCC

Rowan-Cabarrus Community College will offer a new class starting Sept. 15 in its Compensatory Education Program for adults with intellectual disabilities.
Compensatory education is designed to help adults acquire basic and life skills needed to function successfully in daily living. The program of study includes community living, language arts, computer education, health, math, consumer education, social science and pre-vocational skills.

The class will meet 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Monday-Thursday at RCCC’s South Campus, 1531Trinity Church Road, off I-85 and N.C. 73 at exit 55 in Concord.
