Clarification
– The Salisbury-Rowan Economic Development Commission has proposed an extra $18,000 toward its marketing efforts for Rowan County municipalities. The amount is in addition to $75,500 which the EDC has budgeted previously for the marketing of Salisbury, other Rowan towns and the unincorporated areas of Rowan County and is exclusive of the $40,000 set aside to market the county-owned Summit Corporate Center. A story in Thursday’s Post did not make it clear that the $18,000 was in addition to what the EDC has budgeted in the past.
