Chelsea Clinton will visit Winston-Salem and Lexington today, the Hillary Clinton election campaign announced Thursday afternoon.
Sen. Hillary Clinton is scheduled to come as close as Mooresville on Saturday, and her husband, former President Bill Clinton, also is crisscrossing the state in the final rush before Tuesday’s N.C. primary.
According to the Clinton campaign, Chelsea Clinton will first host a question-and-answer event at Salem College at 2:30 p.m. today. The event takes place at the Clewel Patio, 601 S. Church St., Winston-Salem, and is open to the public.
Then, at 4:45 p.m., the Clintons’ daughter will participate in a “Hillary I Know” discussion in Lexington.
Even though the event takes place at a private home, campaign staffer Emily Cain said the public is welcome. Anyone interested in attending the Lexington event should contact campaign staffer Abbey Sullivan at 513-256-2236.
On Saturday, U.S. Sen. Hillary Clinton is scheduled to begin her day at 10 a.m. with a Get Out the Vote rally at Wake Forest College Birthplace Museum, 414 N. Main St., Wake Forest.
She then makes the following stops:
– 1:30 p.m., Get Out the Vote rally at Rotary Centennial Pavilion, 100 N. South St., Gastonia.
– 3:30 p.m., Get Out the Vote rally, North Carolina Auto Racing Hall of Fame, 119 Knob Hill Road, Lakeside Park, Mooresville.
She then flies to Indiana, which also is holding its primary next week.
