Mooresville EDC
A Miami, Fla., man has been chosen as existing industry and marketing manager for the Mooresville-South Iredell Economic Development Corp.
Robert J. Carney, who supervised editorial content, marketing, advertising, sales and distribution of the 30,000 circulation Six Degrees Magazine, will take the position. He was one of almost 97 applicants for the job.
Prior to his magazine work, Carney served as a marketing person for Rockstar Energy Drink in south Florida.
He also has been a loan officer for American Trust Mortgage in Hickory and was director of promotion and advertising for Cabanas in Greenville. Carney is a graduate of East Carolina University.
