Bonanza Drive man faces drug charges

Rowan County Sheriff’s deputies have charged a Salisbury man with several drug counts.
Antonio Tyree Kerns, 20, of 305 Bonanza Drive, was charged with possession with intent to sell cocaine, possession of schedule II controlled substance, maintaining a dwelling for controlled substances and possession of drug paraphernalia.
On Thursday, deputies searched Kern’s home and found a small quantity of crack cocaine, several items of drug paraphernalia and approximately $4,000 in cash.
Kerns was placed in the Rowan County Detention Center under $5,000 secured bond, pending a first appearance in court on Monday.
