– Brian Nathan Hackl, 36, was charged Oct. 12 with assault on a female.
– Timothy Steele Messinger, 925 Confederate Ave., reported a $1,200 computer stolen from his home Oct. 13.- Michael Jackson Whisenant, 116 Rebel Road, reported items valued at $1,700 stolen from his home Oct. 7.
– James Carpenter, 615 S. Main St., Landis, reported items stolen during an Oct. 13 burglary at his home. Total loss was $600.
– Denise Kay Furgeson, 2675 Lowerstone Church Road, Rockwell, reported items valued at $101 stolen from her vehicle while it was parked at her home the night of Oct. 12.
– Vandals spray-painted several portable restrooms at Rowan Septic Tank, 7321 Old Mocksville Road, between Oct. 10 and 13.
– Gas-powered landscaping equipment was stolen from a Hager Landscaping vehicle parked at 4125 Cauble Road between Oct. 10 and 13. Total loss was $1,090.
– Vandals broke into a wellhouse at 1282 Meadowcreek Drive, China Grove, owned by Aqua North Carolina between Oct. 6 and 13.
– Tommy Luckey Gobble, 360 Archer Road, reported the theft of an $800 log splitter from his storage building between Oct. 10 and 13.
– Dennis Lee Powell reported a $140 starter stolen from Bradshaw Auto Sales, 5785 S. Main St., between Oct. 11 and 13.
– Melody Patterson, 306 Hickory Lane, reported a $150 trash barrel stolen from her property Oct. 13.
– Matress Pulliam Savage, 775 Timberlane Trail, reported vandals caused $8,000 damage to her heat pump between Oct. 10 and 13.
– Derrion Taylor Crawford, 16, was charged Oct. 13 with breaking and entering.
– Jerry Allen Nesbitt, 53, was charged Oct. 13 with assault on a female.
