Blotter – Wedding gifts stolen from Club House Drive home

Molly Ukica reported the theft of her wedding gifts from 747 Club House Drive. The theft occurred sometime between Oct. 25 and Nov. 19.

– Sara Johnson reported someone attempted to break in to her home at 400 Mitchell Ave. on Dec. 21. Damage is estimated at $200.
– Terrell Young was charged with trespassing at Laural Pointe Apartments, 900 Laural Pointe Circle. His bond was $500.
– Mauricio Z. Mendoza was charged on Dec. 12 at the 100 block of Crawford Street with possession of schedule VI drugs. He was also cited for driving without an operator’s license.
– On Dec. 12, Sacred Heart Catholic School reported someone spray-painted several exterior walls with graffiti.
– On Dec. 12, Stacy Butler reported a breaking and entering at her home at 1309 N. Main St.
– Food Lion No. 1, 123 Mahaley Ave. reported someone stashed three packages of meats in a purse and tried to leave the store on Dec. 12.
– Claire’s Boutique, 1935 W. Jake Alexander Blvd., reported a larceny on Dec. 12.
– Rushco No. 5, 601 W. Jake Alexander Blvd., reported someone stole two cans of Bud Light and two bottles of Bud Light from six-packs on Dec. 13.
– Oscar Velazquez reported someone broke into his 1998 Ford Mustang at 1935 Rosemont St. and stole the sound system on Dec. 12.
– Lana Ashby, 723 Klumac Road, reported someone slashed all four tires on her vehicle.
– Alberta Rudisell, 323 S. Arlington St. reported her 2005 Chevrolet Malibu was damaged by shopping buggies at Wal-Mart, 323 S. Arlington St. The damage occurred as the buggies were being pushed by an employee.
– Anthony Todd Bailey was charged with stealing watches from K-Mart, 815 E. Innes St., on Dec. 13. He was also charged with consuming on public streets and misdemeanor larceny at 100 N. Shaver St. at East Innes St. on Dec. 13.
– Ben’s Custom Exhaust and Auto Repair, 201 E. Innes St., reported someone forced entry to the building and stole tools on Dec. 13.
– On Dec. 13, Cassie Walton reported the theft of $180 in cash from her purse at the thrift store located at 1800 East Innes St. The purse was stored in a locker in the rear of the store. Officers continue to investigate this case.
– Wal-Mart, 323 S. Arlington St., reported that someone concealed items inside clothing in an attempt to steal them on Dec. 13. Total value of items is $53.02.
– A hit-and-run driver knocked down a light pole in the Food Lion parking lot at 251 Faith Road on Dec. 13.
– Tabatha Heath reported her purse and coat were stolen from the manager’s office at Bailey’s Steak House at 1935 W. Jake Alexander Blvd. on Dec. 13.
– David Parada reported that he left his wallet at Wal-Mart, 323 S. Arlington St. on Dec. 13. He returned to the store’s lost and found and his wallet had been turned in, but his Resident Alien Immigration Card was missing from the wallet.
– Joanna Zeoli reported she was assaulted at 127 S. Main St. at 2 a.m. on Dec. 14 and robbed of her money.
– Ree Moon reported someone cut all four tires on her 2004 Ford Escape at 1510 Glenwood Ave. on Dec. 14. Replacement cost of the tires is estimated at $750.
– Stephanie Bailey, 100 C Clancy St., reported someone stole her wallet from her pocketbook while she was asleep.
– Chilma Osakwe reported reported someone broke into Neighborhood Variety Store, 727 S. Martin Luther King Jr. Ave., and stole wine, beer, cigarettes, canned foods, chewing gum, potato chips and money on Dec. 14.
– Jeannie Morales reported someone slashed two of the tires on her Hyundai car at 700 S. Martin Luther King Ave. on Dec. 14.
– Andrew Kehn reported someone slashed a tire on his vehicle at 625 Wiley Ave. on Dec. 14.
– Melissa Paige reported she was assaulted in the parking lot of the Courtyard Apartments at 810 S. Main St. on Dec. 14.
– Raymond Polk reported someone entered his home at 120 E. Horah St. and stole two televisions on Dec. 14.
– Officers arrested an individual on a traffic stop for possession of marijuana with intent to sell or deliver, Dec. 14.
– Willie Jones reported his home at 212 Lloyd St. was vandalized.
– Erica Strickland reported someone sole a Sony PSP from her apartment at 715 Hall St. on Dec. 14.
– Food Lion No. 10, 525 W. Jake Alexander Blvd. reported a male used a check that was later found to be fraudulent on Dec. 14.
– Food Lion No. 1417, 251 Faith Road, reported individuals shoplifted and then used force to gain control of the property being stolen on Dec. 14.
– Wal-Mart, 323 S. Arlington St. reported a shoplifting on Dec. 14.
– Food Lion No. 1417, 251 Faith Road, reported a male attempted to use a fraudulent check. Staff had heard of this from store No. 10 and declined the check.
– Rushco No. 5, 2480 Statesville Blvd. reported a male robbed the store using a knife on Dec. 14.
– Joshua Dean reported an unknown male approached him in the Wal-Mart parking lot and struck him in the face with a closed fist on Dec. 14.
– Reginald Davon Hamilton, 23, 115 W. Liberty St. was arrested on charges of possession of a controlled substance Schedule VI on Dec. 14.

– Pamela James reported someone used her check card at an ATM in Alabama on Dec. 15.

– Matthew Aaron Lee was charged with possession of stolen goods at 899 S. Jake Alexander Blvd. at Klumac Road on Dec. 15.
– Steven Lewis Stafford was charged Dec. 17 with carrying a concealed weapon (.25 caliber handgun) and resisting delaying or obstructing an officer.
– On Dec. 17 Edgar Baugham reported a 42-inch plasma TV was stolen from his residence at 1620 S. Martin Luther King Ave. on Oct. 24.
– Kathy Irwin, representative of Circle K at 1015 E. Innes St., reported a shoplifter on Dec. 17.
– On Dec. 17 Dennis Eller reported damage to his 1999 Chevrolet due to a hit and run accident.
– Brent Walsh reported someone keyed or hit his 2006 Toyota truck while it was parked in the lot at Lowe’s, 207 Faith Road, on Dec. 17.

– Robert Francis McLaughlin reported someone painted a blue symbol or word on the front window and access door to the crawl space of an attorney’s office building at 122 N. Ellis St. on Dec. 16.
– Chloe Patton reported her mother’s 1999 Chrysler Sebring convertible was scratched with a key while parked at Henderson School, 1215 N. Main St., Dec. 17. Damage is estimated at $400.
– Vincent McNeal was charged with possession with intent to sell or deliver after being found with 17 individual bags of marijuana during the investigation of shoplifting on Dec. 17.
– Roberta Smith reported someone damaged her vehicle while it was parked in the 100 block of West Liberty St. on Dec. 17.
– Officers found a male under the steps to Reliable Pawn Shop on Mooresville Road with a weapon on Dec. 18.
– Daniel Dye reported someone broke into his company van and stole a GPS and laptop parked near his home at 210 Sunset Drive on Dec. 17.
– Janet Johnson Thomas reported someone made charges on her credit card without her knowledge or consent, Dec. 18.
– Patricia Dianne Hill reported her vehicle was stolen between Dec. 17 and Dec. 18 from the parking area at Clancy Hills Apartments located at 118 Clancy St. The vehicle was located in Charlotte the following morning.
– Sherry Drye Kluttz reported someone attempted to break into her home at 1415 Park Avenue on Dec. 18. Entry was not made to the house. Damage estimated at $200.
– Portenae Patrilla Winchester reported her 2003 Honda was scratched with a sharp object while it was parked in the Wal-Mart parking lot at 323 S. Arlington St. on Dec. 18.

– Tina Marie Sindt, 804 Wesley Drive, reported someone used her credit card to make unauthorized purchases, Dec. 17.
