Blotter – Someone breaks into well house at soccer complex

Someone broke into the well house at the YMCA soccer field at 1130 Majolica Road and cut off the pump to the field’s irrigation system, according to the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office.
Edwin Gray Martin reported the incident occurred between Aug. 20 and 25. Total loss was $250.
In other Sheriff’s Office reports:
– Keith Dixon Redmon of Woodleaf reported someone scratched the tailgate of his truck while it was parked at West Rowan High School, 8050 N.C. 801, Mount Ulla, Aug. 22 during a football game.
– Victor Earle Melton of Kannapolis reported the theft of two hydraulic jacks from Victor Melton Construction, 1102 S. Chapel St., between Aug. 22 and 24. Total loss was $3,000.
– Johnny Aaron Moore, 9720 Unity Church Road, Mooresville, reported a home-made wooden bench valued at $185 was stolen from his home the night of Aug. 24.
– Sam L. Miller of Mooresville reported catalytic converters were removed from two Miller Carpet vehicles parked at the 1509 W. C St., Kannapolis, business between Aug. 22 and 25. Total loss was $400.
– Marquez B. Banks of Charlotte reported his vehicle stolen from 5607A Agner Drive between Aug. 21 and 25. The vehicle is valued at $1,500.
– Allison Lineberry reported a cash fraud involving $87 between Aug. 22 and 25 at Elite Glass, 709 Candlewick Drive.
– Fred Melvin Thompson, 1133 Circle Drive, China Grove, reported the Aug. 24 theft of a $220 shotgun from his home.
– Adrian Eugene Spencer, 1315 Oak Breeze Drive, Mooresville, reported a rifle and pistol stolen during an Aug. 25 burglary at his home. Total loss was $180.
– Jennifer Thomas Cannon, 580 Miller Road, China Grove, reported tools valued at $1,095 stolen from a storage building on her property Aug. 23 or 24.
– Marvin Douglas Thomas, 41, was charged Aug. 25 with assault on a female.
– Robert Leroy Wilhelm, 56, was charged Aug. 25 with felony conspiracy to traffic in opium.
– Shaun Michael Pace, 19, was charged Aug. 25 with felony second-degree burglary.
– Allen Carlisle, 37, and Marianne Carlisle, 34, were charged Aug. 25 with second-degree trespassing at 1046 Lenwood Drive, Kannapolis.
– Jamie Nicole Blakeney, 29, was charged Aug. 25 with second-degree trespassing at 300 Academy St., Cleveland.
– Sandra Jo Moffitt, 33, was charged Aug. 25 with felony larceny on Enochville Avenue in Kannapolis.
– Jeremy Dwayne Wheeler, 16, was charged Aug. 25 with simple assault at 1050 Canton Lane, Kannapolis.
– Ashley Lynn Hinson of Salisbury reported vandals cut three tires on her vehicle while it was parked at 2737 Old Mocksville Road Aug. 25 and 26. Total loss was $300.
– Joseph Lee Alexander, 28, was charged Aug. 26 with felony possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver a Schedule VI controlled substance, felony possession with intent to sell and deliver a Schedule II controlled substance and felony maintaining a vehicle for a controlled substance at 700 McCanless Road and felony possession of a controlled substance on jail premises.
– Chris G. Black, 120 McCleave Road, China Grove, reported the theft of a $200 mountain bike from his home the night of Aug. 25.
– Sonya Heffner Cooper, 34, was charged Aug. 26 with vandalism to real property/ willful and wanton injury and possession of drug paraphernalia at 1225 St. Peter’s Church Road, Gold Hill.
– Anthony Neil Gaines, 25, was charged Aug. 26 with resisting, delaying and obstructing a public officer and trespassing at 1875 Seventh St.
– A small amount of marijuana was found Aug. 26 on a student at West Rowan Middle School, 5925 Statesville Blvd.
– Holly Anne Jones, 145 Scott Trace, reported an Aug. 26 break-in at her home.
– Danny Edward Stoner, 7303 Stokes Ferry Road, reported $8,500 worth of guns, bows, muzzle loaders and a gun cabinet stolen during an Aug. 26 break-in at his home.
– Billy Olsen, 8530 Cloverfield Drive, Kannapolis, reported $25 worth of medication stolen from his mailbox between Aug. 21 and 24.
– Harold Grim Belk, 5110 Stokes Ferry Road, reported the Aug. 26 theft of a $2,500 lawn tractor from his property.
– Willie Stacy Carter, 3740 Patterson Road, China Grove, reported the theft of seven aluminum rims valued at $700 after someone broke into a building on his property Aug. 25 or 26.
– Logan Alan Arnone of Kannapolis reported a $1,400 scooter stolen Aug. 26 from a convenience store at 2023 W. C St., Kannapolis.
– Charles Howard Meacham, 133 Old Cherokee Circle, reported an Aug. 26 larceny at his home.
– David Curtis Gentle, 21, was charged Aug. 26 with assault with a deadly weapon.
– Jerry Ray Jones, 43, was charged Aug. 26 with simple assault at 410 St. Andrew’s Church Road, Woodleaf.
– Susan Robinson Carpenter, 45, was charged Aug. 26 with felony possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver a Schedule II controlled substance at 8695 Old Concord Road.
– Antonio Eugene Craig, 29, was charged Aug. 26 with misdemeanor larceny at 385 Beagle Club Road.
– Charles Howard Meacham reported medication stolen from 133 Old Cherokee Circle Aug. 26.
– Catalytic converters were stolen off four company vehicles parked at Contaminant Control, 230 Lockhart Road, Kannapolis, the night of Aug. 25.
– A vandalism was reported Aug. 27 on Rowan County property at 1570 Peeler Road.
– Carroll Wayne Crawford reported a $200 aluminum pole was stolen the night of Aug. 26 from C&T Salvage, 11835 N.C. 801, Mount Ulla, and then sold for profit.
– Eric Dean Beal, 24, was charged Aug. 27 with felony possession of a Schedule I controlled substance following a traffic stop at Geter Road and Crump Circle in Woodleaf.
– Anthony Neil Gaines, 25, was charged Aug. 27 with felony possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver a Schedule II controlled substance.
– David Wayne Galloway, 32, was charged Aug. 27 with assault by pointing a gun at 4809 S. Main St.
– David Lee Barnhardt, 22, was charged Aug. 27 with injury to personal property at 1321 Washington Lane, Kannapolis.
