A woman slept through a break-in at her 526 S. Ellis St. home, according to the Salisbury Police Department.
Angela Roseborough Page told officers the burglar broke the front door open sometime after 11:30 p.m. the night of Jan. 25. Her mother, Julia Roseborough, did not hear anything. Also, nothing appeared to be missing or moved around.

– Kisha Latrice Sanders reported someone broke into her car while it was parked at 425 Laurel Pointe Circle the night of Jan. 25 and stole a CD player from the dashboard.
– Cayce Finger reported the license plate stolen off her vehicle while it was parked at 600 S. Ellis St. Jan. 26.
– Yakin Hernandez reported items stolen during a Jan. 26 burglary at 1222 N. Church St.
– Nathan Miller was charged Jan. 26 with misdemeanor larceny at Wal-Mart, 323 S. Arlington St.
– Adam McBride Horton reported items stolen from his vehicle while it was parked at 324 E. Fisher St. Jan. 26.
– Christopher Michael Payne reported his 1997 Dodge Intrepid was stolen Jan. 27 from 2345 Statesville Blvd.
– A burglar stole two radio controlled cars and remote controls during a Jan. 27 break-in at TRD Hobby Shop, 1504 Kentucky St. Total loss was $2,745.
– A 19-year-old male reported he was shot in the foot as he walked in the 600 block of North Cedar Street about 9:30 p.m. Jan. 27.
– Vandalisms were reported Jan. 27 at four businesses on South Main Street, Inksane Tattoo, Benton Parts, Ligon Electric and Promats.
– Courtney Alexis Lamphear reported vandals damaged her car while it was parked at 535 W. Jake Alexander Blvd. Jan. 23.
– A burglar broke into Godley’s Garden Center, 2281 Statesville Blvd. Jan. 28 and stole coins. Total loss was $350.
– Vehicle wheels were stolen Jan. 28 from Affordable Cars, 2125 Statesville Blvd.
– Tyeshia Larae Caldwell reported a Jan. 28 burglary at 201 W. Fisher St.
– A 26-year-old male reported he was robbed of his bicycle Jan. 28 at 226 N. Long St. and the suspect also tried to shoot him.
– Nina Marie Hannah reported the license tag stolen off her vehicle at an unknown time and place.
– Amanda Faye Hall, 32, 409 Ridgewood Drive, Lexington, was charged Jan. 29 with felony obtaining prescription drugs by false pretense at CVS Pharmacy, 1702 E. Innes St. She was held under $1,000 secured bond pending a first appearance in court.
– Vincent Price Jr., 21, 209 S. Clay St., was charged Jan. 29 with simple possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop on Lincolnton Road near Milford Hills Road. He was held under $300 secured bond pending a Feb. 20 trial date.
– Julius R. McClendon, 23, was charged Jan. 26 with resisting, delaying and obstructing a public officer at 944 W. Innes St.
– Joshua Alexander Hovis, 21, was charged Jan. 27 with second-degree trespassing at 704 E. Innes St.
– Constance S. Lathan, 16, was charged Jan. 27 with simple assault/assault and battery or affray at 1520 Statesville Blvd.
– Jeffery Eugene Isley, 38, 1333 Carolina Ave., Kannapolis, was charged Jan. 28 with felony embezzlement of property received by virtue of office/employment. He was held under $500 secured bond pending a first appearance in court.
– Brant Edwin Ludwick, 32, 3204 Winged Foot Drive, was charged Jan. 28 with larceny of motor fuel based on a complaint by Barbara Swann Burrell, 128 Heilig Ave. Trial date is Feb. 28.
– Faye McCabe reported a Jan. 29 burglary at 508 E. Cemetery St.
– George Epps reported a Jan. 29 credit card fraud.
– Ma Esther Renteria Herrera reported a Jan. 29 burglary at 2604 Old Wilkesboro Road.
– Kayla Marie Hall reported items stolen from her vehicle while it was parked at 613 Hamilton Drive Jan. 22.
– Benjamin Ellis Blake reported a burglar broke into 315 Ashbrook Road Jan. 29.
– Christopher Troy Jenkins reported a Jan. 29 vandalism on Brenner Avenue near Old Wilkesboro Road.
– Walter Minor Grimes III, 27, 118 Adams Circle NE, Marietta, Ga., was charged Jan. 29 with two counts of felony trafficking in cocaine and one count of felony possession of cocaine. He was held under total secured bond of $100,000 pending a first appearance in court.
– Lavel Myneer Best, 28, 2122 S. Jake Alexander Blvd., was charged Jan. 29 with two counts of being a habitual felon.
