-Sherry Ann Leblue of China Grove, reported reported Feb. 1 that someone used her husband’s name and Social Security number to “max” out a credit card and try to obtain another one on Jan. 24.
– Terry Lynn Hampton of Fort Mill, S.C., reported a four-wheeler and trailer stolen Jan. 21 from a parking area at 806 Performance Road, Mooresville. Total loss was $17,800.
– John Forest Bellinger, 18, 795 Sam Euart Road, Rockwell, was charged Feb. 4 with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia following a checkpoint traffic stop on U.S. 52. He was released on a written promise to appear in court March 7.
